Treasure Hunt is Mojang’s competitive multiplayer mining adventure—up to about twenty players racing through shifting mines for buried loot, daily challenges, upgrades, and abilities. To celebrate the dig, a time-limited watch challenge hands out pet companions you can claim in-game.
The challenge window runs from September 4, 2026 at 12:00am PT through September 13, 2026 at 11:59pm PT. You do not have to be a long-time Treasure Hunt regular; newcomers get the same watch path and the same reminder that the server tab is where the adventure lives.
On TikTok, watch any Game Reward–enabled Minecraft livestream for at least three minutes while it is live to unlock the Aqua Cool Fish companion. On Twitch, watch any Partner or Affiliate streaming in the Minecraft category for at least five minutes while live to unlock the Amethyst Drone.
When you hit the required watch time, the platform gives you a redemption code. Enter it at Minecraft.net/redeem and finish claiming before the September 13 deadline—miss that cutoff and the code window closes with the challenge.
