Bedrock players got a Marketplace Pass Free Weekend from Friday, July 10 at 9AM PST through Sunday, July 12 at 12PM PST. During that window, the full Pass catalog—adventure maps, add-ons, skins, and more—was free to browse and try with a normal Minecraft login. No credit card and no subscription signup were required just to participate.
Examples called out in the promo include Actions & Stuff 1.11, the Backrooms add-on, Real Miniblocks, Prizma Visuals 2.1, Biomes o' Plenty, and RealismCraft 2.4. Mojang also points players toward the monthly Marketplace Content roundups and Marketplace Spotlight posts if you need a shopping list for where to start.
A few limits matter. Free Weekend does not unlock Pass-only Minecoin discounts, and Character Creator items tied to an active Pass month stay locked to real subscribers. You can still try plenty of skin packs from the catalog while the promo runs.
After the cutoff, paid content downloaded for the weekend leaves your account and worlds—including add-on features—while any builds you made remain as plain worlds. To keep favorites permanently, buy them with Minecoins, or start a Pass trial/subscription while those titles stay in the catalog (and use Pass discounts if you later want ownership forever).
