Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 10
Official source by Java Team ·

Java Edition 26.3 Snapshot 10 keeps the testing train rolling with a cozy main-menu refresh and a pile of technical and quality fixes. As always, snapshot worlds can break—back up before you dive in.
The title screen panorama now shows the Dappled Forest with an Abandoned Camp, bringing autumn vibes every time you launch. Realms also gains a new introduction screen from Add Realm, and it can appear automatically when a trial is available.
Gameplay tweaks include a Buried Treasure Map icon for Adventure Mode in the game-mode switcher, faster structure locating, and a revert of recent drowned behavior and animation changes from this cycle. Explorer maps get cleaner, more consistent names, and subtitles point to the most recent sound in range.
Technical work bumps data packs to 118.0 and resource packs to 97.0. Notable additions include a /compute command for evaluating number providers, block transformer registries, ore-vein material rules, and tag renames that match the new map naming. The none swing animation type returns for commands and components.
Bug fixes cover a wide range: shulker and enderman teleport particles, villager leveling, closed-caption quirks, armadillo fence escapes, hardcore game-mode exploits, endermen-in-vehicles combat oddities, and more. Enable snapshots in the launcher Installations tab if you want to help stress-test before pre-releases lock things down.

Session vibe
Snapshot 10 is mid-train lab work: more experimental fixes, another changelog pass, still not a place for your diamond stash. Keep the test world disposable, note what broke since snapshot 9, and let a quiet rain mix turn bug hunting into a cozy evening ritual.
Player checklist
- Diff this week’s changelog against last week’s notes so you know what actually changed for your tests.
- Reproduce one weird combat or particle bug in a fresh creative world before filing feedback.
- Leave hardcore or long survival worlds on the stable release until pre-releases feel calmer.
Listen while you play
Suggested vibe: soft rain on leaves with distant thunder — laboratory calm for weekly snapshot poking.
